Contract terms and conditions
Apartment rental is subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Venicely lets apartments specifically for tourism purposes. Prices are expressed in Euro and aside from accommodation include, assistence on arrival and welcome reception, electricity and gas, hot and cold water, heating, air-conditioning, household linen, and final cleaning on departure.
2. BOOKING
Please contact Venicely directly either via e-mail (venicely@gmail.com) or Skype (siorpi) to check the availability of the preferred apartment. Acceptance of the booking is subordinate to availability of the selected apartment and payment in advance.
3. PAYMENTS
To secure the booking, guests should send 30% of the total payment to Venicely within two days after receiving written confirmation of availability. Payment must be by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or PayPal account or bank transfer. The balance of 70% has to be paid by cash on arrival.
Rental prices are depending on the season, duration of stay and number of persons.

4. CANCELLATION
By booking cancellation penalties are followings:
- until 16 days before the arrival: 30% of the whole stay;
- from 15 days until the arrival: 50% of the whole stay.
No reimbursement is due in the event of a prior departure during the stay.
5. DEPOSIT
Guests are required to pay a deposit of € 200,00 cash on arrival to cover any breakages or damage during their stay.
This deposit will be returned on full after a complete end of inspection of the apartment the day of their departure. In the event that guests leave the apartment before Venicely can carry out this inspection, the deposit will be held by Venicely until the inspection has been concluded, and afterwards returned via bank transfer.
6. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES
Check-in is between 3:00 pm and 10:00 pm on arrival day. Check-out before 11:00 am on the departure day. To facilitate their arrival, Venicely asks that guests communicate in advance (by phone, fax or e-mail) their approximate arrival time , means of transport and flight/train number. Arrivals after 10:00 pm will have an additional charge of € 20,00.
7. NUMBER OF PEOPLE
Only those people whose names appear on the booking form are allowed to stay in the apartment. The number of guests must not exceed the number allowed by law.
Subletting is expressly forbidden.
8. CLEANING
The apartment is provided in a clean state with fresh linen. Final cleaning is included in the price.
9. RULES FOR GUESTS
- The guests must respect all the building rules and the regulations. Excessive noise is not admitted from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and from 11:00 pm to 8:00 pm;
- the guests must dispose of waste by leaving bins in front of the building before 8:30 am;
- in event of keys being lost, a surcharge of € 80,00 will be debited for the change of the door lock;
- in the event of any other unjustified intervention (for instance becoming locked out of the apartment) € 50,00 will be debited.
10. LAW AND COURT
The contract is legal and binding under the terms of Italian law. The Court of Venice has the jurisdiction for any controversies.
